California Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This section applies to California residents and explains how Lawnphix.com collects, uses, sells and shares personal information, and the rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the CCPA).

How the site works

Lawnphix.com is a free information and referral site. When you call a phone number shown on this site, your call is routed through a call-tracking and call-routing service to an independent local service provider, and we are paid a referral fee for the call. We do not perform services ourselves and we do not keep caller records on our own systems; call records are held by our call-tracking provider and the partners the call passes through.

Personal information we collect

  • Identifiers — the phone number you call from, IP address, and cookie or device identifiers.
  • Internet or network activity — pages viewed, links clicked, and how you arrived at the site.
  • Approximate location — general area inferred from your IP address or the area code of your phone number.
  • Audio information — calls may be recorded by our call-tracking provider or call partners for quality and billing purposes.
  • Information you give us — anything you enter in a form on this site, such as your name, email and request details.

Where it comes from

Directly from you when you call or fill in a form; automatically from your browser and device through cookies and similar technology; and from our call-tracking, analytics and advertising service providers.

Why we use it

  • To connect your call with a local service provider covering your area.
  • To measure which pages and ads produce calls, and to bill and reconcile referral fees.
  • To detect fraudulent, automated or duplicate calls.
  • To operate, secure and improve the site, and to answer requests you send us.

Sale and sharing of personal information

In the preceding 12 months we have sold or shared the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers, approximate location and call information — to call-routing networks and lead buyers, and through them to independent service providers, for the commercial purpose of connecting your call and earning a referral fee.
  • Identifiers and internet activity — to advertising and analytics partners through cookies, for advertising measurement and targeting.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Disclosure to service providers

In the preceding 12 months we have disclosed identifiers, internet activity, approximate location and audio information to service providers that work on our behalf — website hosting, call tracking, analytics and form processing — for the business purposes of operating the site, tracking calls and preventing fraud.

Your rights

  • Right to know what personal information has been collected about you, where it came from, why, and who it was disclosed to.
  • Right to delete personal information collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

How to make a request

To opt out, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. To submit a request to know, delete or correct, use the form on that same page or call toll-free (833) 785-0749. You can also turn off cookie-based tracking by choosing Private in the cookie banner.

To protect your information, we verify requests by matching the details you give us — such as the phone number you called from and your email address — against records held by us and our partners, and we may ask for more detail if we cannot match them. Opt-out requests do not need verification. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your signed permission. We respond to requests to know, delete or correct within 45 days and pass every request to the partners who hold the data.
